With Demand Lucha having now announced their final event of the year, on December 15th, A Very Merry Lucha Christmas, it is sure to cap off a crazy year for the company… a year that has definitely been LOCO.
Gringo Loco, a man with no respect for the company he represents, has dominated as Champion. Arriving at Luchapalooza as a simple competitor and ending the night as the surprise Champion, Gringo Loco has taken on all comers.
A three way against Speedball Bailey and Ninja Mack was the stuff of legends.
A categorically deranged hardcore outing against Effy was beyond description.
When those opponents could not fell the disrespectful champion, Demand Lucha brought in three of his toughest and most tenacious foes. The champion still prevailed.
Perhaps it’s time to go old school. December 15th, Demand Lucha will be bringing in the Legendary Super Crazy… and perhaps alongside Santa Claus, a Christmas miracle can happen.
The Board of Directors hopes disrespectful American-Born Luchador can be replaced with somebody who actually respects the company and Canadian Luchadors.
Now granted, the matches have not actually been announced yet. Even though Super Crazy and Gringo Loco have both been confirmed for the event, the number one contender is The Mighty Seraphis. When leaving Boom Shaka Lucha everybody thought the Bearded Bull would next up to take on Gringo Loco at the Christmas event, but this reporter has found out that possible injuries have kept Seraphis from being 100% confirmed for the Main Event showdown. The company May pivot to allow the Beast time to heal properly an challenge in the first event of the new year.
Another issue is Zoknov… and his current threats to take out Seraphis before such a match takes place.
Currently both Seraphis and Super Crazy are on the event but no official Challenger for the Premier Championship has been announced. Perhaps at 3-Way?
