The event was announced two weeks ago and since then tickets have gone fast as Demand’s signature event has brought the party every Halloween and 2021 will be no different.
THE FORGE (1590 Dundas St E) will be the place and we’ve had time to plan our October 30th show, unlike our outta the blue return just last month at TacoFest.

We spoke with company play by play man Hutch Henries about the abruptness of the announcement.
“They’ve been a tremendous sponsor and TF gave us a chance to come back we wouldn’t have had otherwise. 3 days notice to advertise is not ideal, but TF themselves set-up the entire festival on a similar crunch.”

The short notice didn’t deter current Lucha Premier Champion CARTER MASON either, who “jumped at the chance to defend his title again.” claimed Henries

And his opponent was a doozy… as they rolled into London for the show, local resident and Ontario wrestling legend TYSON DUX took up Mason’s challenge. These two are no strangers to each other and have had a long rivalry all over Canada.

After TACOFEST, they now stand at 1 win each inside a Demand Lucha ring. Check out the chaos in the below video as Hutch recaps the carnage and look for the FULL event soon, on the LUCHA NETWORK

The rubber match is set and it will be a Submission Match for the Lucha Premier Championship.
Dux has recently garnered negative attention on social media for his outspoken opinion, but that’s about as easy as breathing in 2021. What’s not easy is garnering the type of reputation for dominance and destruction that Dux has.

A man Slam Wrestling once deservedly called the Godfather of Ontario Wrestling, Dux has held titles with every promotion he’s stepped in the door of. The man is even a former Premier Champion defeating Paul London and Brett Banks in a triple threat to capture the title.

The WWE came calling in 2016, knowing that the grizzled indy vet would be perfect for their Cruiserweight Classic Tournament, throwing him straight into the fire against fellow mat technician Zack Sabre Jr.
Dux currently trains the newest crop of Ontario’s Indy stars out of his Dux Academy in London. Although a very respected and successful man, it’s obvious he never got the success he truly desired in wrestling and as a result, Dux has become a bitter and cruel competitor in recent years.
Watch Tyson Dux vs Carter Mason at Vampiro’s Underground Invasion below.

His opponent, Carter Mason, is without a doubt the most passionate Premier Champion in the company’s history. A young veteran in his own right, Mason is a two-time champion and even before the pandemic shut down, had logged more days with the title then any other man.

Although his recent win at TacoFest didn’t end up the way he wanted, his match against Dux at the Underground Invasion is in the discussion for greatest match in company history.

Mason has defeated every person the company has put in front of him and even took down Ophidian’s Serpent Society, regaining the championship from Ophidian himself, beating the undefeated Seraphis (still the only man to do so) and finally, taking down AEW’s Serpentico during the November 2019 Dia De Los Muertos tour.
The tour will be returning again this year from November through January, hitting Toronto, London, Oshawa and more, with Tag Team and Premier Title defenses. Stay tuned for date and match announcements.

The submission match between Mason and Dux is sure to be one hell of a end to the rivalry between these two great competitors, and with the announcement that Super Mex Hernandez will also be on the show, Lucha de los Muertos is turning out to be a fitting return to a scene, that’s been desperate for wrestling since the pandemic began.
