From Outta Nowhere… Demand Lucha Returns!
Our long standing sponsor and partner TACOFEST is back in 2021 and with just a scant 3 days notice, they have asked us to bring Lucha to Tacofest London this Saturday the 28th.
Carter Mason is still the current Lucha Premier Champion after defeating Puma King at our massive Summerslam week event, LUCHA VACATION. But that was August 2019. Demand skipped our usual X-Mas show that year and was set to return in March 2020… on what became the very first week of Covid lockdowns in Ontario.
Mason has proudly carried the banner of Demand Lucha through our 2 year hiatus and jumped at the chance to defend the title again. Ready, and in great shape, he had better be at his best when we head to London, the hometown of his opponent, Tyson Dux.
Dux is a former Premier champion, a legend in Ontario wrestling, a current magnet for online criticism, and a former mentor turned fierce arch-rival of our current champion. In fact, some say they had debatably the best match in company history, at Vampiro’s Underground Invasion… a match Carter Mason lost. Now the Premier Title is on the line and Mason has 2 reason to win. To keep his championship… and to get his revenge!!
