Demand Lucha kicked off the Topés & Tequila Tour last night… and the companies signature event, LUCHA DE LOS MUERTOS, was a true return to form after a long absence.
“Super Mex” Hernandez took flight battling Ontario Veteran ASYLUM, who was looking for a place on the roster. Did he get the win against the former LAX muscle and secure his spot?
The evening started off hot with Tyson Dux against Carter Mason in a Submission Match for the Premier Championship.
Both men raised the title above their head this night… but who took it home in the end?
Speedball Mike Bailey and Mexico’s Aeroboy battled to a standing ovation at Lucha de los Muertos ’21.
The evening was a great start to Halloween… and perhaps the most, you could say, “memorable” moments of events of the night took place when the terrifying Los Medicos made their impressive and destructive debut. They were led by the disturbing El Doctor, a man we’ve come to learn is simply named Zoknov. Chip Punk and El Reverso were not sure how to handle Los Medicos, attempting to use nimble techniques against the colossal caretakers. In the end… Los Medicos stood tall.
Later on, one half of the current Royal Canadian Tag Team Champions, Space Monkey, took on Montreal’s Green Phantom in a fantastic, crowd pleasing affair. But afterwards El Doctor and Los Medicos brutalized the primate and sized up his brain for removal. The locker room came out to assist but the challenge was thrown out and Los Medicos will challenge the Space Pirates on November 13th for the Tag Team Championship, as the Topés & Tequila Tour makes it’s next stop in Kitchener.
