Thief in the Knight – Black Lavender ATTACKS Mason’s MOM!

We may be celebrating the Return of the King here at Demand, but it’s going to be a Bittersweet Christmas at the Mason household this year. This past Thursday night December 13th, returning from a debilitating injury, Carter Mason toppled the undefeated Premier Champion Ophidian to become the first two time champion of the lucha era.

After Mason’s epic victory, his Northern Touch tag team partner, Lionel Knight, fresh off his victory over Jody Treat, came out to congratulate his longtime friend and constituent. But unfortunately, while celebrating with Mason’s mother in the ring, Knight took the opportunity to voice his grievances…. physically.

The self-proclaimed Amazing Canadian head locked Mason’s mother and demanded the Premier Championship belt be turned over to him. Knight griped that they were supposed to be a tag team, they were supposed to move forward together, Knight was there for Mason throughout his recovery and Mason repays him by going straight after the top singles prize.

The two men were, in fact, number one contenders for the tag team titles, although nobody knows where current champions the Fraternity have been, Knight had been looking forward to Mason’s return so they could capture gold together. Now Black Lavender has captured his own gold, stealing Mason’s hard-fought prize, feeling that possession is nine-tenths of the law and that this move will guarantee him a title opportunity at the next show.

Mason agreed, but it’s up to Director of Demand Joel Gertner and the management to make the final decision. We’ll all be waiting with bated breath. In the meantime congratulations certainly go out to the two time Premier Champion Carter Mason. To celebrate his victory we’ve put together some of the best matches and archival footage from what many consider the lost reign here at Demand. The year that Carter Mason reigned supreme.
