Recent reports coming from VCW officials confirm that former champion “Kung-Fu Canuck” Christopher Bishop has suffered serious injuries at January’s TIME FOR SOME ACTION. Bone spurs in the neck, aggravated by repeated DDT’s from New Champion Nick Watts, have jeopardized the future of the proud former champion. Bishop was unavailable for comments, but sources have told us that he had been suffering for months.The early part of Bishop’s career is littered with No DQ And Hardcore matches, but no match appeared on the resume of Bishop than the dreaded ladder match, a match Watts successfully dodged in November due to bureaucratic reasons.
Although Bishop has not announced his retirement, it’s doubtful The Kung-Fu Canuck will be seen in a VCW ring for quite a while.
