Sadly the VCW Board of Directors has taken another hit to start 2016. This last Sunday VCW board member “Soulman” Ricky Johnson suffered two heart attacks back to back. A mere 24hrs later, Canadian wrestling legend Bret “Hitman” Hart released a statement that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer. These both come on the heels of the deaths of “Iron” Mike Sharpe and Wolfman Willie Farkus since the year has begun.
Flying a little more under the radar, VCW board member Smith Hart let the world know on January 21st that he too had been diagnosed with prostate cancer like his brother Bret. Both Mr.Hart and Mr.Johnson have been relieved of thier board duties for the forseeable future.
VCW sends it’s support and love to the Hart Brothers and the Soulman in both their personal struggles and in dealing with the loss of close friends. It is always darkest before the dawn
